Hello
Seed and Stone is a fruit and flower farm nestled in the Pecos river valley north of Villanueva, New Mexico. Barb Odell and Jennifer Billig established a 100-tree orchard in 2019, aiming for a diversified collection of pome fruit, stone fruit, and any other tree fruits that could produce in a high desert climate. The collection includes many heirloom varieties of apple and pear, Asian pear, peach and apricot, cherries and plums, elderberries and mulberry, persimmon and quince. We grafted most of these ourselves on sturdy large rootstocks, so we expect to start seeing some amount of crop in the next year or two.
In the meantime, in 2023 we doubled the size of our garden space and retooled it for pesticide-free cut flower production. In 2024 we will see significant expansion as we add bulbs, perennials and shrubs. We offer weekly bouquet subscriptions for the Santa Fe area, commercial floral accounts, and small scale event floral. Making use of Jennifer’s 30-plus years as a professional artist to create dynamic and unique arrangements, we look forward to providing you with outstanding chemical-free, locally grown flowers.

What's a farm without dogs being their authentic selves being able to explore gopher holes, trying to catch birds flying overhead, or taking a dunk in the river on a hot summer day?
